Biometrics Research Team

Biometrics Research Team consists of methods for uniquely recognizing humans based upon one or more intrinsic physical or behavioral traits. Among physical traits we can find fingerprint, face, iris and hand geometry, while behavioral traits include gait, handwriting and keystroke dynamics. There are other characteristics such as the voice, which are considered a combination of physical and behavioral traits.

The Biometrics department is involved in the development of novel identification methods based on diverse biometric technologies, as well as their introduction on different spheres of our society.

We have gained experience in the following biometric techniques:

  • Fingerprint
  • Palmprint
  • Face.
  • Voice
  • Iris
  • Gait.
